Left 4 Dead Board Game
A board game based on of the Left 4 Dead video game. The main point was to try to capture the essence of fear that the game is able to place in its players as they go through the various levels. The fog of war mechanic was used in order to keep players cautious; players are unable to see inside of buildings until they actually go inside of one. Only then is everything that the building holds revealed to the player. Any building could contain a helpful item or a deadly enemy.
The main goal of the game is to get the humans to one part of the level without getting killed by other players or by zombies. The zombies are controlled by a throw of the dice, so they are essentially uncontrollable and spontaneous. This can be changed though, if a player chooses to play as the zombies instead of a human.
