English Board
The English board is actually a wall located along a stairway leading to the second floor of the middle school I work at. Each month, I update with board with new materials in each of the six sections.
The first section has a calendar, the weather, and important English language news, such as when the next Eiken test (English language proficient test) is and where.
The second section details events that happened in the school or about something that is upcoming, such as a festival later in the month or a show that came to the school. The third section is dedicated to holidays, both in the USA and in Japan. The fourth section has simple English stories that the students can try to read. The fifth section is for fun. There are different comics, silly pictures, and fun information for the students to try and read.
The final section brings all the other sections together in a short quiz. If the students complete the quiz and present it to me, I will give them a sticker.
